Design and implementation of home cinema rooms
We create private cinema rooms that are designed from the very beginning as a coherent whole - both in terms of acoustics, image and interior finish.
Each home cinema project is created based on a conversation with the client, room analysis and precise technical assumptions. Thanks to this, the system is not random - it is tailored to a specific space and method of use.
We are responsible for the entire process: from concept, through design and implementation, to final system tuning.
What does the design process look like?
We always start a home cinema project with space. We analyze the room - its proportions, height, volume, potential acoustic challenges and seating arrangement.
At the same time, we talk about how the cinema is to be used: whether it is to be a typical cinema hall, a universal entertainment room or a games room.
Already at the concept stage, the interior designer works together with the team responsible for acoustics and audio-video systems to make the cinema a natural part of the house.
Acoustics of a home cinema hall
Acoustics are the foundation of every well-designed home cinema. It determines the sound quality.
Interior acoustics are created as an element of the cinema hall development. The acoustic walls and ceilings we design have a specific function and influence how sound works in the room.
At the same time, we care about aesthetics. Speakers, subwoofers and cables are hidden in the structure of the walls and ceilings, and the whole thing is finished in a manner harmonized with the interior architecture.
Sound system and surround sound in a home cinema
We always design home cinema sound systems with reference to a specific room and Dolby Atmos standards. They determine the arrangement of speakers, their number and method of operation.
We create systems based on our own speakers and subwoofers, which we design for a specific implementation. Thanks to this, we have full control over how the system behaves in a given cinema hall and can adapt it to the project assumptions.
After installing the system, we perform tuning and calibration in the finished room.
Home cinema image - selecting a projector and screen for the room
At the design stage, we determine key parameters - primarily the image size and brightness. We take into account the proportions of the room, the distance of the viewer from the image and the technical standards used in cinemas.
In most projects, we use a 4K projector, which allows us to achieve a cinematic effect. A TV works better in smaller rooms.
After completing the assembly, we calibrate the image in the finished interior so that the image is natural and consistent with the source material.
