Frequently asked questions
The most frequently asked questions related to the implementation of the Soundwall TV wall
What is the cost of installing a Soundwall media wall?
How much space do I need for a Soundwall?
Our Soundwall is only 20-35 cm deep. Its width is influenced by the distance from the listening position, because it determines the speaker spacing. A typical media wall is 250-500 cm wide and contains all the elements of an audio system: speakers, subwoofers, amplifiers, etc.
Do I need a TV cabinet or audio rack for the Soundwall?
All necessary equipment (amplifiers, processors, players, etc.) is hidden inside the Soundwall TV wall, so there is no need for additional cabinets or storage space. Thanks to our solution, you can enjoy strong sound while maintaining the clean and clear design of the TV wall without visible cables or technical elements. Devices such as amplifiers, sound processors and media players are hidden behind the TV in a specially designed space that ensures proper cooling of the equipment and service access.
What music sources are available and can I connect a turntable to my Soundwall?
The soundwall allows you to play music from streaming services such as Spotify, Tidal, AirPlay or Internet radio and control it using an easy-to-use mobile application. Additionally, it is possible to connect external sources, such as a turntable or CD player. The soundwall also integrates with your TV, so the speakers turn on automatically when you turn it on. The volume can be adjusted directly using the buttons on the standard TV remote control, without the need for a programmable remote control or additional control system
Is Soundwall available with Dolby Atmos surround sound?
The soundwall is intended for typical living rooms where it is usually not possible to place effect speakers in accordance with Dolby Atmos technical standards. For this reason, we usually recommend a high-quality, high-powered stereo system for the living room. However, if the interior design allows it, we are able to provide a full Dolby Atmos solution, including additional effect speakers.
What are the differences between Soundwall and freestanding stereo speakers?
Soundwall is a TV wall with a built-in audio system that replaces classic columns.
The most important differences between a TV wall and freestanding speakers are:
Aesthetics
In Soundwall, the audio system is hidden in the wall, so the interior remains unobstructed and the home cinema is an integral part of the living room. In the case of classic columns, they are an additional element, often different in character from the interior design.
Space
A TV wall provides great freedom of arrangement, ergonomics and better communication than in the case of free-standing speakers, which take up valuable space.
Safety and comfort of use
A home cinema in the form of an acoustic wall does not require any free-standing elements or loose cables, as in the case of classic columns. This solution is convenient in everyday use, also for users with small children or pets.
Matching the interior design
Each TV wall is made to measure. We select acoustic fabrics, materials and details so that the whole thing harmonizes with the architect's concept. Floor-standing speakers do not provide such freedom and comfort in design.
Acoustics and sound quality
The buildings also have an acoustic function. The speakers work in controlled conditions, which translates into a more precise and dynamic sound than in the case of classic speakers placed in the living room.
What is the difference between Soundwall and the so-called invisible speakers?
The so-called invisible speakers and Soundwall are two different products, with different properties and purposes.
Invisible speakers are mounted in the wall or ceiling and finished together with the surface - with plaster and paint. They are completely invisible (they look like an ordinary wall), so they work well in places where the priority is a clean form and discreet sound in the background. The sound quality is not perfect in this case. It is also not possible to achieve the high volume levels and deep bass required for a cinematic effect.
Soundwall is a solution designed for a full-fledged home cinema in the living room. The key here is the sound quality and the way the system works on a daily basis. We use our own loudspeaker and subwoofer designs known from private cinema halls, thanks to which we achieve high sound dynamics.
The soundwall does not disappear completely like invisible speakers, but is consciously designed as an element of the interior architecture. Thanks to this, it harmonizes with the appearance of the living room and at the same time allows you to obtain a high-end audio system.
Do I need expensive speaker cables and accessories to improve the sound?
Cables influence the sound quality, but in practice, the most important parameters of the cables are well selected. The length of the wires and their cross-section are crucial - for longer distances, we use thicker speaker cabling to avoid quality losses.
In our projects, we use proven cabling from renowned manufacturers, selected for a specific project. Thanks to this, the system operates predictably and without losses, and the investment remains rational - without overpaying for elements that do not make a real difference in the listening experience.

How big a TV do I need for my living room?
Modern 4K TVs allow you to sit close to the screen without losing image quality - pixels remain invisible and the image is sharp and detailed. However, the selection of the screen size is not accidental. On the one hand, it depends on the user's preferences, on the other - on proven guidelines that help to achieve comfortable viewing conditions.
As a guide, the following TV sizes can be assumed depending on the viewing distance:
One size fits all – watching TV
- 65”2.2m - 3.1m
- 75”2.6m - 3.6m
- 85”2.9m - 4.1m
- 100”3.4m – 4.8m
Cinema size - watching movies
- 65”1.6m – 2.2m
- 75”1.9m - 2.6m
- 85”2.1m - 2.9m
- 100”2.5m – 3.4m
In practice, we always adjust the size of the TV to a specific interior. In living rooms, there are often limitations related to the layout of the space or development, so it is crucial to find the right balance between the size of the image, the aesthetics of the TV wall and the comfort of everyday use.
Can I add shelves and cabinets to Soundwall?
In the flagship Soundwall model, we can complement the acoustic fabric finish with subtle furniture elements - such as a TV shelf, side shelves or veneered panels. We always design their arrangement taking into account the audio system, so that they do not interfere with the arrangement of the speakers and do not affect the sound quality.
Soundwall Mini gives you more freedom in composing the structure. Furniture elements can be more extensive, making it easier to adapt the wall to the living room's function and storage needs.
Even more flexibility is provided by the Soundwall Trimless variant, which can be fully integrated with a classic plasterboard wall, furniture, or even a decorative stone surface. The audio system remains hidden in the wall structure, and the whole can take any form designed by the architect.
Soundwall Custom is a solution designed completely from scratch - it allows full freedom in shaping both the acoustic part and the furniture, precisely to the interior design guidelines.
Carpentry elements can be made by us or by a selected carpentry workshop cooperating with the investor - always based on common design guidelines.
What does a TV Soundwall system consist of?
The Soundwall is based on a rigid structure in which we install acoustic elements and the entire audio system.
The front of the wall is finished with sound-permeable acoustic fabric, available in many colors. Behind it are hidden speakers and subwoofers, the type and number of which are selected individually - depending on the size of the room and the expected dynamics and quality of the system.
All electronics, including amplifiers, sound processor and media player, are integrated into the cabinet - most often behind the TV. We provide convenient service access, without affecting the appearance of the wall.
home cinema systems are often installed in rooms with imperfect acoustics, which is why we use digital sound processors that allow us to precisely adjust the audio system to a specific room.
After installation, we perform acoustic measurements using a calibration microphone and specialized software (Dirac Live). On this basis, we adjust the volume levels, delays, frequency response and phase alignment of the entire system.
The effect is an even, natural sound - without boosts, resonances and accidental distortions resulting from the acoustics of the interior.
